Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine in Walloon, Somerset & Ipswich Surrounds

Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture and Tui Na massage integrated within our allied health team to support pain management, stress, sleep, hormonal health and overall wellbeing. Ancient practice. Real results.

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a complete system of healthcare that has been practised for thousands of years. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, TCM looks at the whole person: physical, emotional and lifestyle factors to understand what's driving your condition and restore balance from the inside out.

At Walloon Health Hub, our TCM practitioner offers two core treatment modalities: acupuncture and Tui Na massage. These can be used individually or in combination depending on your condition and your preferences, and they sit alongside our broader allied health team so your care is always connected.

Our Treatments

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to stimulate the body's natural healing response. It is used to reduce pain, regulate the nervous system, improve circulation and restore the body's natural balance. Modern research increasingly supports its effectiveness for pain, stress, sleep and a range of other conditions and for most people, it is a deeply relaxing experience.

Tui Na is a form of Chinese therapeutic massage that uses hands-on techniques including kneading, pressing, rolling and stretching to stimulate circulation, release muscular tension and support the body's energy flow. It can be used alongside acupuncture or as a standalone treatment, particularly for people who prefer not to use needles. Tui Na is effective for musculoskeletal pain, postural issues, headaches and stress-related tension.
